Welcome to Soundraft ("Service"), run by John Raptis ("we," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") cover your use of our platform, where you can upload, stream, and comment on audio files. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

1. Basics

• You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
• We may update these Terms; check back here. Using the Service after changes means you accept them.

2. What We Do

• Upload audio files (e.g., MP3, WAV, FLAC).
• Store them as uploaded.
• Stream in "Original Quality" (as is) or "Preview Mode" (high-quality MP3).
• Add timestamped comments on waveforms.
• Get extra features (like unlimited storage) with a paid plan.

3. Your Account

• Sign up with an email and password. Keep them safe—you’re responsible for your account.
• Give us accurate info and update it if needed.
• We can suspend your account if you break these Terms or misuse the Service.

4. Your Content

• You own your audio and comments ("User Content").
• By uploading, you let us store and show it to run the Service.
• You’re responsible for your content—make sure it’s legal and doesn’t break anyone’s rights.
• We can remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Rules

• Use the Service for audio collaboration, not illegal stuff.
• Don’t upload viruses, spam, or mess with our system.
• Free accounts have storage limits; paid ones don’t.

6. Audio and Streaming

• We keep your files as uploaded (lossy or lossless).
• Streaming: "Original Quality" (paid) keeps it exact; "Preview Mode" (free) uses MP3.
• Downloads match what you uploaded.
• Quality depends on your file and internet—we’re not liable for issues there.

7. Payment

• Free tier is basic; paid plans unlock more (see pricing page).
• We bill through a payment processor. No refunds unless required by law.
• Cancel anytime—access lasts until your billing period ends.

8. Our Rights

• We own the Service and its design.
• Feedback you give us is ours to use.

9. Stopping Use

• You can quit anytime and delete your account.
• We can stop your access if you break these Terms or we shut down the Service.
• Your content may be deleted 30 days after you leave.

10. No Promises

• The Service is "as is"—no guarantees it’s perfect or always up.
• We’re not responsible for third-party stuff (like payment systems).

11. Liability

• We’re not liable for big damages (e.g., lost profits) from using the Service.
• Our max responsibility is what you paid us in the last year.
